Junior Lancer Club

Softball is Here!!

The USC Lancaster Softball team is set to take the field Saturday at 1pm. The inaugural season of Lancer Softball will not officially kick-off until Feburary of 2011 however the NJCAA allows for 10 scrimmage dates in the fall to prepare for the regular season in the spring. Most of the fall scrimmage dates are away this fall primarily due to USCL being new to the region though the Ladies of USCL's sister campus, USC Salkehatchie, have graciously agreed to make the trip to Lancaster for the Lancer's first ever field appearance. *Fall Update*

Athletic Department
The USC Lancaster Athletic Department is gearing up for the fall 2010 semester. After a long hot summer filled with meetings, recruiting trips, field preparations and maintenance, freshman orientations, and camps USC Lancaster coaches are ready to get back on the playing surface. The 2010-2011 school year looks to be a bright and promising time for USC-Lancaster athletics.
The buzz this fall will certainly be focused around the brand new USC Lancaster softball program. Head Coach Alan Blankenship has been busy building a team that looks to be competitive in one of the toughest regions in the country.

Lancer Club
The USC Lancaster athletic department continues to grow. With the addition of softball this fall there are currently over 100 student-athletes enrolled at USC-Lancaster. Plans are currently underway to construct a new on-campus soccer field and add our 7th sport, men's soccer, to the fold. Of the over 100 student-athletes enrolled at USC Lancaster approximately 60 percent are from outside of the Lancaster Area. These Student-Athletes have been drawn to our community by the quality of the education offered by USCL , the hospitality of the citizens of Lancaster, and the recognition and notoriety achieved by our Coaching Staff and former athletes. We invite you to continue to be a part of the building tradition at USCL by supporting our Student-Athletes through attending sporting events and joining the Lancer Club, our athletic scholarship fund. For more information on becoming a member please contact our Athletic Director, Rick Walters.
GO LANCERS!!
