The Lady Lancers Soccer Team defeated the Patrick Henry Community College Patriots on August 30th to earn their first region win of the season. The Lancers won four to zero as keeper Ecclesia Kirkland had several key blocks. Yana Kodzai scored a goal on a header that came from a corner kick. Brandi Cornelio scored her second goal of the season on a break away shot and Leah Kodzai chipped in a goal. Freshman Rebecca Hinson scored her first goal of the season on a break away shot. The Lady Lancers play again at home September 15th as they host Cape Fear Community College in a region match. Read more.

Lady Lancers Victorious in Season Opener

The USC Lancaster Lady Women's Soccer Team opened up the fall 2015 season with a five to one win over Johnson and Wales University. The Lady Lancers started scoring 15 minutes into the match as freshman Yana Kodzai scored her first collegiate goal. Sophomore Alexus Young added a second goal and freshman Brandi Cornelio chipped in her first collegiate score of the fall. Indian Land High School graduate Ivanna Guzman scored her first goal and Valerie Jones of Buford High School scored her first goal which put the Lancers in front five to one. The Lady Lancers take the field on August 27th at home as they host Converse College. Congratulations to the Lady Lancers on their win. Read more.

Lady Lancers to Begin Practice on August 3rd

The USC Lancaster Women's Volleyball Team will begin practice and tryouts on August 3, 2015 at 8:30 in the morning.  The practice and tryouts will be held at First Baptist Church located in downtown Lancaster.  Please bring a copy of a current, completed, and signed physical form and all necessary equipment.  If you have any questions please contact Coach Burke or Coach Hassell. Sophomore Jake Carr Earns Academic All American Award

Lancer sophomore Jake Carr has been named an Academic All American by the National Junior College Athletic Association.  Jake, a rising junior played baseball for the Lancers for the past two years and was a member of the 2015 squad that won the Region X Championship will attend Winthrop University this fall to major in finance.  Jake, who worked hard in the classroom and on the field sported a cumulative 3.76 GPA while earning his Associate in Science Degree at USC Lancaster this spring.  Congratulations Jake on your hard work and good luck at Winthrop University.  Read more.
