The Lancers Start Off the Spring with Two Wins Against Gray Military Academy

The Lancers Baseball Program started the spring season off with a bang on Saturday.  The Lancers defeated Gray Military Academy with scores of 10 to 0 and 3 to 2.  The Lancers were led on Saturday by the pitching of Wade Arduini who got the win in the first game.  He went five solid innings and gave up two hits and fanned five hitters.  At the plate in the first game the Lancers were paced by Patrick and Parker Burt as they chipped in three hits and drove in four runs.  Also, Ranz Bodison, Tommy Winterstein, and Bryan Dye drove in runs. Derek Croxton chipped in two hits and scored two runs.

The second game featured Tanner Petrey on the mound a he has not pitched in a college game in two years.  Tanner went six strong innings as he scattered four hits and fanned four batters.  Bryan Drager came in to finish the game in the top of the seventh and earned the win.  Zach Callahan had another solid game at the plate as he took a Gray Military Academy pitch and deposited outside of the stadium.  He also had another hit in the game.  Bryan Dye also supplied two hits in the game.
